Pirates Cove Adventure Golf is open for the season

Pirates Cove Adventure Golf

I am not a big golf fan. Perhaps because the few times I have went I have not been very good, so I have always enjoyed the challenge of the short game and taking my skills to the mini golf circuit.  You can not beat a place like Pirates Cove for that.

Pirates Cove is located right off of exit 87

Take exit 87 into town and Pirates Cove is right on the corner of the intersection of “The Strip” & ” Downtown”

90 holes of golfing if you are really looking for a fun filled day of golf.  Each hole offering a different challenge as you make your way through the course that is filled with cannons and signs as you walk the course that gives you a full history of the pirate way of life.

Of course you do not have to play all 90 they have these different options.

Black Beard 18

This is for the people who struggle a bit.  It is considered the easiest course.

Captain Kid 18

This is the next easiest but its pretty cool because it goes through a cave.

Pirate’s Look out 18

Has great views, and it should if its a Pirate’s lookout.  Beautiful scenes of the Wisconsin River!

Captain Hooks 19

Is ideal for families with small children this course although 2nd in difficulty it is stroller friendly and also handicap accessible

Pirates Challenge 18

This is the most challenging and it starts at a real sun dial!  Be sure to check your watch and see if you are on time.

Update 4/10/2014

I went by Pirates Cove yesterday and after all these years I did not know, or perhaps I forgot, that they also have a play area for your kids. Like a park for small children, with slides and stuff. Its Free and at the top of the hill on the back of the property.  Yesterday was a beautiful Wisconsin Day and there was a lot of small children playing there.
